And I thought naming them Espn was bad. Well it is, but you get my point. Joining young Ad and Ree on the playgrounds of the UK will be an increasing number of Gandalfs, Superman(s?) and Madonnas. What no Swooshes?

  1. Wow. I really thought that those of us here in the southern U.S. were the real winners in the bad baby name contests. Now I’m not so sure.

  2. Feel better about your end of the culture! I knew a Rainbow Summersquash. At least that was her name when we were kids. Bet she’s changed it. I think it wouldn’t take long to count the number of people born in the ’70s in Northern California whose names aren’t either a noun or a concept. Did I ever mention that my dad originally wanted to name me Odo? Just saying …
