Odd moments in judicial reasoning: 2nd Amendment doesn’t apply to Washington DC

Judge Karen Henderson dissented, writing that the Second Amendment does not apply to the District of Columbia because it is not a state.

Well, that explains why President Bush doesn’t see a need to seperate church and state — he thinks he’s living in a Constitution-free zone.

I don’t care. I’m still in favor of arming bears.

  1. Now I feel enlightened as to the past 6 years at 1600. Only someone that could be Attorney General could have a legal mind such as Judge Henderson… Look for her on an upcoming roster.. or maybe Mitt would offer her a job on the supreme court!! One wonders what Tom Jefferson might say..?
