Japanese PSA explaining Nuke disaster for kids is a whole new level of weird

Video featuring cute characters trying to avert nuclear disaster. The explanation of Chernobyl Boy is especially notable.

Because nothing in Japan is allowed to happen without its own cute icon.

Best and most appropriate use of invective in an ad campaign ever.

While I generally don’t swear there are some situations where not to would be a lie. This video from UnFuckTheGulf is one of those. It speaks the truth – both emotional and factual – directly and appropriately. It isn’t easy to find the perfect word to use in a situation, and far too many people use this word pointlessly, but these folks nailed it. I really think this is the definition of the phrase “public service announcement.”
